What’s in Store for 2012
I originally wanted to write something about New Years Resolutions or the futility of it, but I have been overwhelmed by the holiday overindulgence and stupor.
With a week gone from New Year, it looks passé anymore to even talk about Resolutions.
Hence, I decided instead to write something about what, I believe, are in store for 2012.

The Apocalyptic Worry and Its Relevance to Investors
I was preparing to write something related to franchising for this post when a headline item at Yahoo News caught my attention on Saturday May 21, 2011. The item looked so timely and so compelling that I decided to postpone the post about franchising to a future date to give way to this piece.
The news item was entitled “Apocalypse Believers Await End, Skeptics Carry On” and it was about the supposed “end-of-the-world” on the very same day May 21, 2011. The prediction was made by an 89-year old civil engineer named Harold Camping.
